Located in the Texas Hill Country between Fredericksburg and Stonewall, Becker Vineyards was established in 1992 by Richard and Bunny Becker.The vineyard was planted on a site of native Mustang grapes much prized for winemaking by German neighbors and their ancestors. Also planted on site is a three acre lavender field reminiscent of the wine country of Provence, France.The 46 acres of French Vinifera vines generate 8 different availablevarietals, including Syrah, Petite Syrah, Sauvignon Blanc, Malbec,Petite Verdot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot.

Driftwood Estate Winery is owned and operated by Gary Elliott. The vineyard, planted in 1998, is 20 acres with 14 acres currently in production with 7 grape varieties. We received our winery license in July of 2002 and did our first commercial grape crush with the August 2002 harvest. Our first commercial wine was bottled in February 2003 and we opened the winery to the public on March 1, 2003. Our first year production totaled about 1,200 cases, which included 5 different wines. We now produce over 4,500 cases.

The Vineyard:  Our first plantings at the Kuhlken Vineyards began in 1994 and have been increased since then to our current 17 acres of grape vines. Our estate vineyards are planted with several varieties that include Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Garnacha, Touriga Nacionale, and Mourvedre. Like the winery, we work to keep things simple. We continue to do our pruning, cluster selection, and eventually harvest by hand in order to preserve the high level of quality we demand for our wines.

Since 1988, Sister Creek Vineyards has been located in the heart of the Texas Hill Country in Sisterdale, Texas (Pop. 25). Bordeaux and Burgundy wine making techniques are employed to produce our Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot wines. These traditional wines are aged in 60 gallon oak barrels for up to three years. In combination with our barrel aging, minimal filtration methods are incorporated so the wines will retain their fullest flavors.

Texas Hills Vineyard is located in the gentle hills of the picturesque Pedernales River Valley in the Texas Hill Country near Johnson City. A perfect location for growing quality grapes, the intense Texas sun by day and the cooler hill country nights gives our grapes an intense and quality flavor, ideal for wines.
